This appears to be a problem in the grub-pc package not placing the resume=X clause into the boot path. I've done this manually but not very cleanly into /etc/grub.d/10_linux and after update-grub I can reboot from hibernate. Recommend moving to grub-pc package. ** Description changed: - Bi
