Hi all, Just updating possible workaround. I was in a similar situation with regards to tt-mscorefonts-installer and unrar for Karmic Koala. I manually deleted files related to those packages from /var/lib/dpkg/info. viz. $ cd /var/lib/dpkg/info $ ls -l *ttf-mscore* $ sudo rm *ttf-mscore* $ ls -l
