jjericho is right. The mouse clicks are actually doing something on the
server but the client screen does not refresh.

I'm experiencing the same problem on a german version of ubunto 9.04. Before
the update everything was working fine. Now I'm experiencing the same problem
either connecting from a macbook pro (desktop sharing, chickenVNC) or from my
windows machines (using ultra vnc)
