The only add-ons I have enabled are DOM Inspector, Google Gears,
Greasemonkey, and Ubuntu Firefox Modification. I usually have to end up
killing the process from the terminal to get my Firefox to start up

This happens even after renaming the .mozilla folder in order to reset
all settings to default and virtually remove all plugins.
