I have the same problem with openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3.1. I'm
running Ubuntu Jaunty, 2.6.28-12-netbook-eeepc kernel on a Eee PC
(1000H), which is a i386.
After I removed openoffice.org-gtk (which also removed openoffice.org-
gnome) the problem disappeared. Reinstalling the gtk package restor
This is a crash log produced after clicking on the Templates middle
pane. JRE is from Sun's Java 1.6.0_0 (installed on
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre).

Do you have accessibility enabled in Gnome? If so does disabling that
also fix the problem? If so that is a known problem that may be fixed in
the next release, but I am not certain.
