Kubuntu better. The KDE3 version of KNetworkManager has been
discontinued by its original authors. This unfortunately means that
there will be no more bugfix releases, and updates in general will be

Correction, it drops the connection when the screen saver goes off.
The plasmoids on my screen saver have internet access, but when I go
back to regular I have no network connection. I then have to click on
the connection, it asks me for the WEP key>?!?!!?!!? why??? I close it,
