fortune-mod not included
The ideal fix I suppose would be to either remove wanda the fish from
the default installation, add a dependency for the fortune module for wanda.
Ol' timers like myself expect fortune to come with Linux, but it's not
necessary, by any stretch.

Is this present in Karmic? I would just like to add that it is also in the i686
version and is not exclusive to amd64.
I'd suggest either adding fortune-mod (boo) or just removing the applet (yay).
