So, this patch to libvirt 0.6.1 makes it so that you can add ac97 to the
xml file for your virtual machine and run the virtual machine with ac97
support through virt-manager. The dialog box in virt-manager still
needs to be updated. (these are the relevant changes made to libvirt
0.6.2 that allow
So, ac97 support was added to libvirt in 0.6.2 which was released on 3
April 2009.
