Well, I have managed to compile a 64bit VM and successfully run an image. The generic UNIX source just needs a small patch applied. btw, those sources at `http://www.squeakvm.org/squeak64' are over 2 years old. It seems as though 64bit is now supported in the generic UNIX source package. -- The

I should point out that a 64-bit Squeak is a big issue (according to my smalltalking co-workers) far outside of the scope of Ubuntu. However, the upstream 32-bit Squeak binary has no 32-bit dependencies other than ia32-libs (confirmed on several debian-based systems). Is there a reason not to ju
