The problem depicted in the screen shot isn't a dialog box that is too large for the screen, but rather the actual top of the screen where the top bar is cut off. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.n

Modal dialogue boxes can be designed in such a way that they cannot be displayed in their entirety of certain sizes of screen. Normally by holding down Alt you can hold down the left mouse button and drag them up the screen. (I always have to do this for the Software Updater on my newer EEEPC wit

It has nothing to do with design; it is a hardware or driver issue since several scan lines are not actually being displayed on the screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366443 Title:

Phillip Sorry, I don't see this as a video driver or a hardware defect. Its is just poor design, because no-one thinks about small screen sizes. Anyway, I no longer have an interest in this bug, Tony -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subsc

This appears to either be a bug in the video driver or a hardware defect rather than anything to do with unity. Can you attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log? ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bu

I recently installed Lubuntu 12.04 on the EEEPC I had when I reported this back in 2009. I had to use the Alternate install because of the small amount of disk space available (4GB SSD) and had no problems with the dialogues. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubun
