Updated to Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Beta (Kernel 2.6.32-18). Suspend to RAM
und resume now works fine without any workarounds on a Samsung P35 XVM

I found a workaround for the problem described above (at least it works on my
computer, too):

/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/20-video-quirk-pm-
samsung.fdi (from hal-info package) installed.
Also on a Samsung P35.
Suspend to RAM worked in Hardy, not in Intrepid, neither in Jaunty (nor
in Gutsy before).
Please let me know, what to do to get Jaunty's standby work (I do not
intend to fall back to Hardy).
In my view, suspend to RAM is one of the very essential features for use
in produc
After trying to resume from standby the machine doesn't react on network
requests (e.g. ping or ssh).
