Just to report that this really discourages me from doing work to report
bugs.
I put quite a lot of work into reporting a bug, discovering what was going
wrong.
Apparently no one does anything.
Ten years later I get a message that this version of the operating system
is no longer supported
[Expired for ubiquity (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

[Jaunty] Install incorrectly reports no other OS on syst
I've experimented with this a bit more, and discovered an unusual
behaviour which may help track this down. It turns out my machine has
two disks sdb1 and sdba. Looking at the image above, you'll see that
though it says "This computer has no operating systems on it", in fact
it means this *disk*.
