I run Kubuntu Karmic beta1 x86 64 and from the beta1 it's no more
possible to read DTS , HD ect...
I just don't understand while was no problem before this release.

It looks like the version in Jaunty was compiled without libdca, making
it impossible to playback files with a DTS
unsubscribing ubuntu-backporters.
we need a candidate version in karmic first before we can even consider
a backport.
