Strange, thanks for reporting and for keeping your bug up to date. Most
probably that it was a old permission bug or something like this that
has been fixed by latest packages. Who knows. Still, if the bug come
back, feel free to re-open the bug report. Thanks!

openoffice does not respect page
It works now. The solution was to uninstall the brother-packages and to
reinstall them:
1. Delete the brother printer in printer settings
2. sudo apt-get purge brother-*
3. sudo apt-get install brother-lpr-drivers-laser
4. Reinstall the printer in printer settings

This is a printer driver failure. I'm using the original Brother HL 2030
driver in the package brother-lpr-drivers-laser. Installing the HL2060
Cups-driver works but is no solution as it is much slower than the
original one.

Firefox was set to Letter Format. When I set Firefox to A4 the same
problem happens. Openoffice is set to A4. The paper has the size A4.
It must be a generic fault as the ubuntu printer test page is printed
out of page, too.
I upgraded from intrepid to jaunty. Before that it worked fine.

settings set to A4 as well?
