Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I continued to have strange things
happening. The screen would freeze but there were no error messages. The
system started rebooting itself hourly, but there were no cron jobs set.
Other computers that my lab bought at the same time had similar
problems, but they

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?
