I just tried the latest lucid server distro. Since I didn't have any
spare hardware, I set it up in a VM (qemu-kvm). Anyhow, it appeared to
work correctly. Installation went fine, and then it booted up fine. It
does know about md devices at boot now!

Is this bug reproducible with the latest Lucid packages ?
I'm reviewing the old bugs without a package and marking it as incomplete so if
someone don't send a response it will aurtoexpire in 60 days.

My situation isn't exactly the same, but it looks like a very similar
issue to me - I'm using dmraid on a fakeraid system but the issue seems
to be the same. I posted my problem as a question a while ago and got

After some research, I found a temporary work-around. When the boot
fails, I get dropped into busybox. I can type this:
mdadm -As
exit
And then it boots fine. How do I fix this permanently?
