VirtualBox in fullscreen also causes this.
Also the CoolIris firefox plugins will flicker on notificaitons since it runs
in full screen.
Using compiz/nvidia-180.44 jaunty.

this happens for me too...[using compiz] , notify-osd 0.9.11-0ubuntu3
this also happens when browsing with firefox in full-screen mode...
also when viewing videos from you-tube in fullscreen causes the video to
quit from full-screen mode...!

Oh yes I forgot to mention that I'm running compiz with above mentioned
driver. My resolution is 1680x1050.
