I have finally been able to reproduce this problem on a 2-screen
desktop, after turning off Xinerama.
I have backported the latest upstream version (1.9.1) and the problem is
gone for me. Can anybody else confirm this?
You can get the latest version of the package from my PPA:
deb http://ppa.l
Interestingly, I also have two screens attached.

This continues to occur for me on jaunty. It mostly seems to happen
when i've booted with an external screen attached.
