I also have the MX900, when I plug in the Logitech Bluetooth Wireless
Hug, I see the following in /var/log/messages:

Mx 900 logitech bluetooth mice doesn't work at boot on dapper, I use the
same solution : disconnect and reconnect. I didn't have the problem with
breezy ...
