Hi
I have solved the problem. The problem was that the original
installation of Ubuntu didn't installed the "Hardware Controllers"
Application. Once I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.27-11 the wl module was
not recognized (authorized) any more. To enable the BCM4312 wireless
card I just had to install
(previous post was incomplete)
I have the very same problem. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 with kernel
2.6.27-11 on a Dell Inspiron 1526. I'm attaching the lspci output and
the lsmod output.
