I just tried creating a fresh user account. I don't experience the problem
with that account.
I keep /home in a separate partition and although I do new installs, I like
to keep my /home.
So my guess is there is some configuration setting under my user that
triggers the crash.
So, to move this
When you filed the bug, there had already been 3 updates to pulseaudio.
