The design team asked me in bug 332600 to reuse the same window. It
would look very strange to have a window, and then a notification.

This is not a bug against notify-osd. It should rather be filed against
the program/package that's reponsible for this "Safe remove"-message you
mentioned, Ricardo. I believe it needs to be filed against gnome-mount.
