If user installs openoffice, then he expects it to work.
If he install KDE as well, then he expects open office to still work.
When installation KDE breaks OOo then this is a bug.

Do you have openoffice.org-kde installed and thus openoffice.org-style-
crystal? If not install them, they are installed by default when
installing kubuntu so this bug only shows up if you install kde under
Ubuntu but not the kde support packages for openoffice.org
