I have checked the following as of the 3-4-08 all latest updates with
Jaunty 9.04
CD-R Blank - does not mount but is manually ejectable.
CD - DATA Silver cd - mount's automatically and un-mount's right click command
eject volume, then ejects automatically. Unable to eject manually.
CD - MUSIC Sil
Does the CD Drive eject if a different CD is used (for example, an audio
CD or a blank CD-R)?

Further information I have a is
The eject works on a DVD burner drive, so it may look like a hardware
specific or CD reader only.
The model of the CD drive is Compaq CDR-8484B (ACP6) 48X
Also the cd is a windows game called moto racer (original silver cd).
Its data layout is mixed format contain
I have all the lastest updates installed as of the time of posting and
the issue is still present.
Here is the terminal stuff and still no eject.
jos...@amd-ubuntu:~$ eject -v
eject: using default device `cdrom'
eject: device name is `cdrom'
eject: expanded name is `/dev/cdrom'
eject: `/dev/cdrom
Please try the command 'eject -v' in a terminal, and paste the resulting output
in your reply.
