So where is it. I don't mind having to enter the password nearly as
much as having to remember to run a script to connect and then another
to disconnect and ifconfig to see it I have a tunnel up or not.
I looked in the updates and did not see it there.

Actually, it should be pretty much fixed. The connection data is
remembered, but passwords aren't remembered. A somewhat separate issue,
though.
