i dont think this is an issue; you can define static IP configuration in
the connection editor. you should be able to properly set your gateway
there too.

In fact, the gateway (192.168.0.127 that I defined manually) was
automatically replaced by 0.0.0.0 :(

In fact (as I just reinstalled) it works fine with dhcp, and it's only
when I configure "static ip" with the associated dns that it fails
(while I'm correctly connected, I can ping another computer on the LAN)
until reboot.
