Should now work with the new NetworkManager widget shipped alongside KDE
4.3.
** Package changed: plasma-widget-network-manager (Ubuntu) => plasma-
widget-networkmanagement (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: plasma-widget-networkmanagement (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Fix Released
** Bug watch added: KDE
This bug is still present in KDE 4.3 RC1 as I tested it today. Looking
at the source of the gnome network-manager-applet I see this line
src/applet.c:1238: nm_client_sleep (applet->nm_client, !state)
I suspect this very line to aktivate the network after suspend. I'm no C
programmer and this
I can confirm this bug.
When I suspend to ram using the battery monitor widget or the kmenu. Then
networkmanager widgets resumes fine.
But when i suspend using the hotkey combination "Fn" "esc" i have the same
problem as reported above.
