The Webkit crash happens to Nelson (whom I was helping out), too.
It goes away when I build the *Debian stable* libwebkit 1.0-1 package:
$ apt-get build-dep libwebkit-1.0-1
$ dget -x http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/w/webkit/webkit_1.0.1-4.dsc

This bug may be related to the more recent one I reported- Corruption in
my .gnupg directory apparently prevented gnome-keyring-daemon from
properly starting.
