I can confirm this. Using suggested configuration options seems to fix
this issue:
/usr/share/themes/Dust/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:708: highlight_ratio => highlight_shade
/usr/share/themes/Dust/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:709: lightborder_ratio => highlight_shade
