If this only affects QT 4 applications, I am not sure if this is a bug
in the -ati driver or the qt4 libraries. I'll add a qt4 task to the bug
report, maybe some qt4 experts have a clue.

RGB and BGR are ok, only VRGB and VBGR give the error. This is
reproducible all the time.
