Still no resolution to this... uploading dmesg, debug, daemon,
bootstrap.
I don't know if any of those will tell anything--but perhaps it could be
of some use to figure out what's going on.
In the console I attempted startx and it resulted in the error I am
receiving with the computer doing noth

Hope this is what you were asking for me to post. I did a search of the
whole partition and that seemed to be the closest to what you requested
--but i also copied over some others that seemed to be dealing with xorg
and such.
