What's the gain of calling gtk_window_stick() ? I don't see how it helps to
circumvent the focus stealing prevention.

Yeah, I agree with Peter. At least for Openbox users, this patch seems
to cause exactly the problem it aims to fix. When I click the
notification icon in trayer, the buddy list opens but goes to the
background. It does not appear in the tint2 panel. However, I see it
does get focus because the

their buddy lists show in all workspaces, which I believe is caused by

I have an issue with the used patch:
If I use OpenBox, than the partner list opens under other windows, but it gets
the keyboard focus. Other windows doesn't do this. However if I recompile (with
apt-src) the pidgin packages without the patch, everything is fine.
