I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix on my MSI Wind and
there is no startup sound after login.
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME
Login" plays without error, but there is no such startup program in
Sessions. After creating an entry with the command,

If the above command works, but you don't hear it upon login, there's two
options:
1) the task is disabled in sessions - startup programs
2) for some reason sound doesn't work until later
By the way, confirmed means >1 person has confirmed the bug, see
