The issue described in this bug report should have been fixed with the
latest xfprint4 upload (all xfprint4 entries have been hidden).

I agree, the Xubuntu settings menu is a mess. It has so many items (>30)
it doesn't fit on my screen!
There are 4 types of items which need clean-up in the Settings menu.
1. Items which don't belong there at all like Synaptic, System Monitor,
Storage Device Manager, Partition Editor etc
2. Items
Charlie Kravitz and I discussed the different applications via IRC the
other night. I'll do some testing on this and will put together a
recommendation on it later this Saturday, submitting my recommendations
to the mailing list and via this bug report. Thanks, Lionel.

Xubuntu menu needs cle
I don't think patching the applications' desktop file is a good idea,
it's rather intrusive and doesn't depend on our sole will (especially
for system-config-printer). What can be done is hiding them in the
xubuntu-specific menu file shipped in xubuntu-default-settings, so
people who still want all
