generally make a bug report private unless there is information in it
that you don't want people to see. Making it private will severely limit

i make a Solution for me: new installation with ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex
with follow partitions-subdivision:
SSD1: 4GB=/,
SSD2: 5GB =/usr,
SSD2: 3GB =/var,
USB-Stick: 8GB=pictures, music and Videos
SD-Card: 8GB = documents
This solution is to this time good for me :-) because

I see, that not give an intelligent and flexible program for EeePc.
This problem is not an error for nautilus or gparted.
It's an mistake of the System, that the scanty resources of
Ubuntu-Debian-System not recognise,
and (on inquiry) store/move the Data on SD-Card.

I know just, Nautilus and Gparted has differnet display of Memory-Usage.
I have many Programs deleted and i see just:
Nautilus say: 98,2 MB free Memory and
Gparted say: 287,0 MB free Memory.
The System need (i think) 188,8 MB for Puffer or reserve for System.
