do you tried "mplayer" for watching DVB-T?
with "libx264"-package, mplayer should be able to play h.264 content

In Hungary the DVB-T standard has changed from MPEG2 to MPEG4 h264. Since
that no application is able to play the DVB-T stream, most probably the codec
is missing.
When Totem tried to search for the codec it reports that no suitable codec
can be found...
