I can print as of the release of Ubuntu 6.06. In Edgy it works, too.

Hi,
here on Kubuntu 6.06.1 I cannot print: in the print dialog I cannot see
the printer setted in CUPS and if I try to print with "Generic Printer"
nothing will be printed.

Hi:
I ran into this bug too, it may be that you need a plug-in for Open
Office. You may be able to find it in Synaptic, for the kind of Printer
System (Program that you are making use of!)

Same exact problem here on 3 different Dapper workstations!
The printing jobs are stopped quite immediately, via remote but also printing
locally...
I hope will be fixed anytime soon, it's a very annoying problem...
