Poor system performance under I/O
Scott James Remnant, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

It seems to me that I have the same issue: high I/O but low cpu utilization as
well as high disk utilization but low throughput. My bootup times are very slow
(up to 5min for the desktop to fully load).
