With the duplicates reported for this bug, can anyone that reported a
duplicate reproduce the issue in Ubuntu 10.04? It would really help to
have updated logs, if this is still valid.

unfortunately, it is no longer possible to reproduce this as I have moved on
from that environment (jaunty alpha + nvidia).
I will take note of your comments regarding debugging the program crash and
will hopefully be able to provide more information next time I come across a
bug that needs rep
