Yes, that problem with the live CD is for another bug.
I think that we can close this bug as we cannot find a way to reproduce it for
now, but if you find it again in the future, please, don't doubt to report it

i'm trying to test the new lts release, but the live cd doesn't work in my
travelmate 243LC.
(when i select "try ubuntu without installing" or "install ubuntu" the screen
goes dead, the system and the fan keep going, but nothing else happens, no
matter how i wait or what i do. the same cd works
hi. at this moment i've got debian lenny in the acer travelmate 243LC.
maybe i'll replace it with the new LTS release this spring, and i will see if
the bug is already there.
