This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid.
If it remains
I noticed that when the issue happens the resume from hibernate status ends up
with a blank screen (when this happens a typical user can think that the resume
process didn't work because he should see the gdm window). At this point you
can type:
- ctrl - alt - f1, and you see a blank screen;
