I know this bug is related to nvidia driver, but I got a similar problem
with xorg-driver-fglrx.
I tried to ireplace the xorg-driver-fglrx for non-free fglrx-driver:
# apt-get install module-assistant fglrx-driver fglrx-kernel-src
...The following extra packages will be installed:
fglrx-atieven
I still get:
dpkg-divert: mismatch on divert-to
when removing `diversion of /usr/lib32/libGL.so.1.2 to
/usr/lib32/nvidia/libGL.so.1.2.xserver-xorg-core by nvidia-glx-180'

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you've
