Hi, I don't recall manually editing the printers.conf file. I actually had no
problems on earlier updates.
Anyway, yes you can close it , since the resolution of the issue with "chattr"
I have encountered no errors.

Did you set the printers.conf file as immutable yourself and forgot about it
then?

Ok issue resolved!
/etc/cups/printers.conf could not be replaced / deleted etc due to the "i"
[immutable] flag.
To see these attributes run :
sudo cd /etc/cups/ & lsattr
To change the attribute of printers.conf [while in the /etc/cups/ directory]
type : chattr -i printers.conf
You can now ove
