image to print right now on 4x6 inch photo paper is 1.21 x 1.61 inches.

Update: After today's cups update, the behavior is much worse. Each
time I load an image and navigate to "page setup" in eye of gnome, the
reported size of my 4x6 printing paper drops by ~50%. It's now down to
.01" x .01". This happens whether I load the same or different image,

I can also reproduce this using a HP Deskjet F300 on stock Ubuntu
Intrepid 32-bit
IMO the printing dialogs for gtk apps seems to be hideously complicated
and stupid, like not being able to scale past 100% to at least fill the
printable area.
