Hi,
I am quite new to linux, but I'll try my best.
My laptop is a Siemens Amilo Si 1520.
I don't get the error anymore during boot, but after I posted the bug,
the pc once unexpectedly shut down while displaying a clip.
How can I see the "ata errors" in the logs?

also what make and model is your computer?
When firefox hangs are there any more ata error in the logs - or do you just
get those couple
during boot?
