I've been running Jaunty from a fresh install since Alpha 6 and haven't
seen this problem. I don't recall whether or not I upgraded the kernel
prior to reinstalling. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Can you comment if this is still a regression for you with the 2.6.24-24
kernel for Hardy? Also, have you been able to test the latest Jaunty
9.04 release and confirm if this issue remains? It contains a newer
