I can confirm that I am experiencing the same issue in Ubuntu 8.04 fresh
install. It worked, but suddenly it stopped with exchange option
enabled.
The line from /var/log/messages

I would like to comment that I am experiencing the same issue using
Ubuntu 7.10 fresh install with the exchange option enabled. I am unable
to delete my email, and doing so causes an immediate crash.
