According to the output from alsa-info.sh, this symptom is not caused by
alsa-lib. The user needs to unmute and raise the mixer level of
'Headphone'. The user also needs to mute 'External Amplifier' and
'IEC958'. If these changes are insufficient, the user also needs to set

'Sound recorder', 'ZynAddSubFX', Skype but not from Rhytmbox.
