The error is that the user does not configure the virtual machine to use
the audio which is solved in the properties of the virtual machine to
activate the audio

Which virtualization solution are you using? VirtualBox, VMWare? With
VirtualBox atleast, you will have to enable the sound card when you
create a new VM. Remember, your VM sees none of the native hardware. All
that it sees are the ones shown by your virtualization solution.
