I'm using Pidgin 2.5.2-0ubuntu1 from Intrepid. I think the only plugin that would affect this is the Pidgin GTK Settings one, the logging itself is provided in Pidgin. I only changed the color of the sender and receiver. I guess what happens is that this applies to how they are shown in the window
